Responsibilities

• Warmly greet Members and guests as they arrive and provide a welcoming first impression.
• Assist with seating, reservations, wait times, and general dining inquiries.
• Manage entrance and seating area with a polished appearance.
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus or information.
• Communicate with servers, managers, culinary team, and other departments to support service.
• Support reservations system and help ensure a seamless member experience.
• Monitor seating flow and assist with coordinating reservations and seating.
• Answer phones and handle basic questions and requests in a friendly manner.
• Recognize Members by name and communicate preferences to staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host/greeter area.
• Follow club policies, safety standards, and service expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Primary Purpose

The Greeter is often the first and last impression our Members and guests experience. This position plays an important role in creating a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience from the moment a Member arrives. The ideal candidate is friendly, polished, attentive, and genuinely enjoys making people feel welcome. As part of our Food & Beverage team, the Greeter helps set the tone for exceptional service and supports a positive, seamless experience throughout the dining operation.

Essential Functions

• Warmly greet Members and guests as they arrive and provide a welcoming first impression.
• Assist Members and guests with seating, reservations, wait times, and general dining inquiries.
• Manage the entrance and seating area while maintaining an organized and professional appearance.
• Escort Members and guests to their tables and provide menus or other appropriate information.
• Communicate effectively with servers, managers, culinary team members, and other departments to support a smooth dining experience.
• Learns and develops a strong understanding of the Club Essentials member reservation system, including navigating online reservations, assisting members with bookings, and utilizing the system to support a seamless member experience.
• Monitor table availability and assist with coordinating seating flow.
• Answer phones and assist with basic questions, reservations, and requests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Recognize and acknowledge Members by name whenever possible.
• Maintain awareness of Member preferences and special occasions and communicate relevant information to the service team.
• Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming host/greeter area.
• Respond to Member and guest needs promptly and with a positive attitude.
• Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and excellent judgment when interacting with Members and guests.
• Support the Food & Beverage team wherever needed to provide exceptional service.
• Follow all Club policies, safety standards, and service expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
