Job summary

Defined Fitness Inc. in Farmington, NM is seeking a Greet Team Member (FT/PT) to welcome members and guests with a friendly, professional demeanor. You will verify memberships, answer inquiries, and guide guests to services while supporting club sales goals.

The role requires 1+ year in customer service, cash handling, CPR/AED certification within 45 days, and full or part-time availability including mornings, evenings, and weekends. Gym access and team incentives are provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a customer service-oriented position
• 1+ year cash handling experience
• Demonstrate ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office and various other products such as ABC and GymSales
• CPR/AED certification (including infant and child) within first 45 days of employment
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles

Responsibilities

• Greet all members and guests in a professional, courteous, and pleasant manner
• Verify membership status and respond accordingly to questions, concerns, etc.
• Work with Greet Team Manager to achieve club sales goals
• Answer and/or direct all incoming calls promptly and courteously
• Conduct periodic club walks to ensure a clean and safe facility
• Accurately process money transactions
• Place calls to prospective members regarding new promotions
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace
• Communicate all club concerns and member inquiries to management daily
• Provide tours for prospective members

Salary Range: $12.00 To $15.00 Hourly

About the Role:

The Greet Team Member plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and positive first impression for all customers entering the establishment. This position is focused on delivering exceptional customer service by warmly greeting guests, answering initial inquiries, and guiding them to appropriate services or areas. The role requires attentiveness to customer needs and the ability to communicate clearly and courteously with diverse individuals. By maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor, the Greet Team Member helps foster a comfortable and inviting environment that encourages customer satisfaction and loyalty. Ultimately, this position contributes significantly to the overall customer experience and supports the smooth operation of the team and facility.

Minimum Qualifications:
