Job summary

Sydney R Marovitz Golf Course in Chicago, IL is seeking a motivated Greenskeeper for a part-time, seasonal role lasting six months or less. You will help maintain the greens, tees, fairways, and rough to create a positive experience for our members and guests.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
• Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areas
• Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water
• Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as necessary
• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds
• Applies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Compensation

$19.50 - $20.00 per hour
