Job summary

Sydney R. Marovitz Golf Course in Chicago, IL, is seeking a part-time Guest Service Attendant to deliver friendly service to members and guests while supporting daily golf operations.

This seasonal role lasts up to six months, with hourly compensation of $17.30 to $17.40. Responsibilities include bag handling, club cleaning, start-of-play direction, equipment rental support, and light food and beverage assistance.

• Serves the customer renting golf clubs and cleans rental clubs upon return.
• Assists with food and beverage activities.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Compensation:
$17.30 - $17.40 per hour

Key Responsibilities of the Guest Service Attendant:

• Assists with the overall upkeep of Sydney Marovitz.
• Provides sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning.
• Assists in educating players regarding the game.
• Directs start of play when necessary.
• Maintains accurate records of golfers renting clubs.
• Services the customer who is renting golf clubs and cleans rental clubs upon return.
• Assists with food and beverage activities.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications of the Guest Services Attendant:

• One-month related experience or training.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
