Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving across multiple maintenance disciplines.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, complete tasks with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems with experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, irrigation, or automated equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong organizational and time-management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to recognize safety hazards, follow procedures, and communicate concerns.
• Proficiency with smartphones/tablets to access CMMS and systems.
• Willingness to learn and expand technical skills as needs evolve.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on facility systems and equipment (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, greenhouse, production).
• Diagnose equipment failures and complete safe repairs with limited supervision.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns, including after-hours when required.
• Identify work that can be done in-house; coordinate with leadership for licensed outside support.
• Safely operate and maintain forklifts, scissor lifts, skid steers, and groundskeeping gear.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and recommend long-term solutions.
• Document work, labor hours, materials, and equipment condition in CMMS.
• Keep workspaces, tools, parts, and supplies organized.
• Perform groundskeeping and seasonal property tasks (mowing, trimming, spraying, snow removal).
• Assist with facility improvements, equipment moves, and larger projects.
