Job summary

GAF in Newton, Kansas invites a Process Engineer Co-Op. You will participate in a greenfield-like project, performing QA on raw materials and root-cause investigations as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities include problem solving, supplier collaboration, and technical reporting while progressing toward a Bachelors in Engineering with at least a 2.8 GPA. Relocation/temporary living allowances may apply.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 2.8 GPA and sophomore standing.
• Ability to generate accurate and concise technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform raw material quality assurance activities and material performance analysis.
• Conduct problem-solving investigations to identify root causes and preventive actions.
• Support quality-improvement initiatives with suppliers.
• Provide technical support and analytical analysis for material issues.
• Prepare rotations with formal report-outs to GAF leaders.
