Job summary

American Power & Gas is hiring a CSR to join our Clearwater, FL team. This onsite role combines customer service with inside sales, handling energy customers over the phone and guiding them through enrollment with a focus on quality and accuracy.

We offer paid training, career growth, and a supportive, fast-paced environment. You’ll enjoy a guaranteed base salary plus commission, health benefits, and weekday hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with no weekends.

Qualifications

• No prior sales or telemarketing experience required.
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening.
• Team oriented with ability to handle a high call volume.
• Motivated to grow in customer service and inside sales.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound/outbound calls to residential and small commercial customers.
• Provide exceptional customer service and guide customers through enrollment.
• Support telemarketing efforts and generate qualified leads.
• Build relationships in a fast-paced call center environment.
• Participate in ongoing coaching to improve care and sales skills.
