American Power & Gas is hiring a Customer Phone Agent to join our onsite team in a dynamic call center environment. The role focuses on inside sales and delivering exceptional customer service to residential and small commercial customers seeking green energy solutions.

Training is provided, with opportunities for career growth and a fun team setting. With a guaranteed base salary plus commission, you will work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, enjoy paid holidays, benefits, and weekly

Qualifications

• No prior sales or telemarketing experience required; entry-level to experienced encouraged.
• Excellent verbal communication and strong listening skills.
• Team-oriented call center environment with high call volume.

Responsibilities

• Leads provided; engage residential and small commercial customers to offer energy solutions by phone in a call center environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing needs, answering questions, and guiding customers through the process.
• Work in a fast-paced call center setting with emphasis on inside sales and building relationships.
• Participate in telemarketing efforts, generating leads and promoting green energy services.
• Collaborate with a supportive team, receiving ongoing coaching to improve customer care and sales skills.
