Job summary

Graywolf Integrated Construction Company is seeking a Construction Apprentice in Conyers, GA. Assist journeyman craftsmen on site, erecting, wrecking, maintaining equipment, and performing janitorial tasks across projects.

Responsibilities include safety, tool handling, basic construction math, rigging, material handling, and working up to 12-hour shifts outdoors in varying conditions. Minimum 6 months as helper or current electrical apprentice; pre-hire requirements required.

Qualifications

• At least 6-months experience as a Helper level construction worker in electrical AND/OR a current electrical apprentice
• Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements.

• Rigging Equipment – Safely and competently identify and use basic rigging procedures and equipment including chain hoists, come-alongs, jacks and tuggers.
• Dig, spread and level dirt and gravel using a pick and shovel.
• Lift, carry and hold building materials and supplies.

Physical/Site Requirements:

• Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent withage.
• Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outsideconditions.
• Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, andscaffolds.
• Work at heights with fall protection, work from manlifts, baskets, JLG’s etc.
• PPE footwear/prescription safety glasses or eye shields required.
