Job summary

Responsibilities include weighing ingredients, labeling totes, and ensuring operations stay ahead of the production schedule. Must read, write and speak English and be able to lift 40–60 pounds; PPE required.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret batching sheets and production documents to determine order and quantity of ingredients.
• Stage ingredients and clean totes to contain batches.
• Record batch data: lot numbers, suppliers, date codes, and plan numbers.
• Inspect each ingredient bag for condition, foreign material, lumps, odor, infestations, or expiry.
• Weigh ingredients per card, batch into totes, label totes and stage for batching.
• Maintain a clean work area; keep gravy room and dry ingredient area orderly; cover and seal unused ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret batching sheets to determine order and quantity of ingredients.
• Stage ingredients, clean totes, and perform batching as per formulas.
• Record batch-related data on batch sheets and ingredient tags.
• Inspect bags for defects and ensure quality of ingredients.
• Weigh, label, and stage totes; keep production schedule ahead by ~15 batches.
• Conduct general cleaning and ensure proper PPE usage and sanitation.
