Job summary

Simmons Foods is seeking a production associate to prepare gravy ingredient batches and manage pre-weighed “super-micros” per approved formulas. You will read batching sheets, stage ingredients, and record batch data with care.

Responsibilities include weighing ingredients, inspecting bags for quality, and maintaining cleanliness in the gravy room. Prior GMP exposure and English literacy are essential; veterans are welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting batching sheets and production docs.
• Ability to stage ingredients, weigh and label totes accurately.
• Familiar with GMP and safety practices in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Read batching sheets to size and number ingredients.
• Stage ingredients and clean totes for batching.
• Record lot numbers, supplier info, and batch data on sheets.
• Inspect bags for damage, contaminants, and quality.
• Batch ingredients, weigh per card, label totes and stage them.
• Keep production schedule ahead by 15 batches.
