Operates Gravure Press to produce "Best In Class" packaging for domestic and international use.
Responsibilities
- Operates Press, troubleshoots and monitors operation.
- Prepares Press by performing tasks to produce a consistent, high‑quality product, including precise control of feeding, adjusting color, register and cleaning to match customer specifications.
- Performs make‑ready tasks with quick, easy settings to maintain high productivity and precision, resolving defects and adjustments.
- Works with general technicians on equipment.
- Makes adjustments and clears jams while processing product, maintaining speed and quality.
- Ensures efficient and rapid make‑ready, including unloading and loading.
- Ensures quality of jobs by reviewing for accuracy and error‑free completion.
- Ensures finished product exceeds customer expectations.
- Completes all checklists.
- Supports and communicates ISO standards and quality objectives to the Press Team.
- Maintains adherence to EHS and Clean policies, assists team members in keeping a clean, safe environment.
- Follows company safety procedures, uses appropriate personal protective equipment, handles and disposes of hazardous materials safely.
- Wears proper uniform and uses company‑provided safety lifting equipment.
- Examines work areas regularly to keep them safe and neat; stores and arranges work area to maintain cleanliness.
- Demonstrates ability to maintain safe working order and coaches crew in safe work practices.
- Interacts respectfully with team and co‑workers, encouraging cooperation and excellent performance.
- Communicates accurate information to team members in a professional, courteous manner.
- Accepts direction and feedback from supervisor.
- Creates a high‑performance environment characterized by positive leadership and strong team orientation.
- Develops the team and encourages each member to do work correctly and efficiently.

- Performs any additional tasks as required by Department Leads, Shift Leads, or Management.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years of equipment operation experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer and mathematical skills to compute percentages, weights, and measures.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged standing, stooping, bending, reaching, balancing, kneeling, crouching, and manipulating objects.
- Frequent lifting of more than 60 lbs.
- Must hold, touch, feel, and manipulate product and equipment safely.
- Requires close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and good eye‑hand coordination.
- Rotate shifts and be available to work in excess of 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week when necessary.
