Job summary

Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 7 on/7 off graveyard shift (21:00-07:00). You will perform diagnostic MRI exams, coordinate with radiologists, and ensure high-quality imaging while following MRI safety protocols.

The role includes patient education, accurate records, and collaboration with caregivers in a fast-paced setting. Sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance may apply.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification or ARMRIT certification.
• ARRT(R) cross-trained in MRI is acceptable.
• BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT/ARMRIT/MRI competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Identifies patients accurately and verifies orders; prepares patients for exams.
• Performs MRI exams per protocol and reviews images for quality.
• Adheres to MRI safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies within acceptable time frames without compromising care.
• Instructs students and other MRI staff in protocols, positioning and equipment.
• Provides patient education, ensures comfort, and addresses concerns.
• Follows infection control and sterile techniques; maintains records and reports issues.
