Job summary

The Pueblo of Sandia is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member in Albuquerque, NM. Under general supervision, you will assist in menu development, food preparation, and serving hot and cold items while maintaining safety standards.

You will help ensure correct temperatures, portion control, and cleanliness across the kitchen and dining areas. Preferred candidates have at least 1 year in food service, and will complete NM Food Handlers training; background checks and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant or food service experience is required.
• Must complete NM Food Handlers course upon hire.
• Background check and pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in menu development, food setup, service and cooking.
• Set up hot and cold lines, maintain proper temperatures.
• Serve items from counters and steam tables with correct portions.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards.
