Becklar, LLC in Rexburg, Idaho is hiring a part-time Alarm Monitoring Associate to process signals, dispatch authorities, and support subscribers during emergencies.

You're on day/evening shifts, must type 40 wpm, pass training, and join a 24/7 team dedicated to safety. We offer tuition reimbursement, health benefits, a 401(k) match, and weekly pay, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Available to work Day/Early morning shifts.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Able to type at least 40 wpm.
• Must pass a 2 week fully-paid training class and pre-employment drug test/background check.
• Willing to commit for at least 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Process alarm signals quickly, accurately and professionally during emergencies.
• Dispatch authorities to subscribers' locations and verify help is on the way.
• Assist alarm company partners with alarm system tests to ensure alarms work properly.
• Accurately document all responses for the alarm on the computer.
• Learn and use new software to complete multiple tasks.

What You'll Do:

• Process alarm signals quickly, accurately and professionally while managing stressful situations.
• Dispatch the proper authorities to subscribers' locations in emergencies, verify that help is on the way, and notify responsible parties.
• Assist our alarm company partners with alarm system tests to ensure subscriber's alarms are working properly.
• Accurately document all responses for the alarm on the computer.
• Learn and use new software to complete multiple tasks.
• Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure the accurate handling of alarms and to foster your professional growth with our team.

Skills Needed:

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED
• Must be available to work Day/Early morning shifts
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm.
• We are a 24/7 business to protect our subscribers.
• To ensure each team member gets schedule flexibility you must be willing to work 1 weekend day each week or every other weekend.
• You also must be willing to work holidays.
• Ability to make a 6 month commitment to work here.
• Must be able to pass a 2 week fully-paid training class.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
