Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4–7 years of related machining/assembly experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches and work orders to determine procedures.

Responsibilities

• Can safely operate major shop tools including Forklift and cranes, performing machining and assembly tasks.
• Provide support to in-house customers such as manufacturing and engineering with a customer-service approach.
• Interpret Work Orders and blueprints to determine tooling and fixture requirements.
• Perform various machining tasks using standard shop equipment (surface grinders, drill presses, grinders, sanders, band saws, routers).
• Plan and perform complex machine set-ups; apply basic trig to calculate angles for set-ups.
• Maintain clean work area and ensure proper tool handling and safety compliance.
