Responsibilities

• Operate major shop tools including Forklift and Cranes to prototype parts and perform repairs
• Support in-house customers (manufacturing, engineering, business units) with a customer-service approach
• Use Work Orders, blueprints, sketches to determine machining processes, tooling and fixtures requirements
• Perform machining and assembly tasks using standard shop equipment (grinders, drill presses, saws, routers)
• Plan and perform complex machine set-ups; apply trig for angles and optimize capacity
• Nest parts to maximize material efficiency and reduce waste
• Plan and perform moderately complex set-ups; basic trig knowledge
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area
