Job summary

MassArt's Center for Art and Community Partnerships (CACP) seeks a part-time Graphic Design and Marketing Assistant to support Haley House’s outreach through print and digital materials. You will craft flyers, social graphics, and newsletters, and help update brand guidelines while collaborating with program staff.

Weekly mentorship with Haley House's Development Director, 6–8 hours weekly, hybrid work schedule, and a flexible arrangement to accommodate student needs.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and/or Canva.
• Attention to detail and creativity.
• Strong interpersonal skills with clear communication and professionalism.
• Commitment to helping the most vulnerable and challenging existing systems of privilege.
• Preferred: familiarity with Wordpress and other social media platforms.

Responsibilities

• Create graphic communications for printed materials, email newsletters, and digital graphics including events flyers, posters, and social media visuals.
• Support managers with flyers and digital graphics to promote events.
• Collaborate to support outreach and fundraising campaigns through design solutions.
• Update brand guidelines and design elements for consistency across materials.
• Update Canva templates for program staff and define changeable elements.
• Design mini-campaigns for multiple events with digital and non-digital elements.
