Job summary

Our Daily Bread Ministries in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Grants Specialist to develop grant proposals and reports. You will coordinate cross-functional efforts with Finance, Publishing, and ministry leaders to keep grant activities on schedule and aligned with program impact.

You'll organize data from multiple stakeholders, write compelling narratives, and maintain CRM records and templates to support foundation partnerships and stewardship across global initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Business, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of grant writing or related nonprofit experience.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to gather and synthesize information from multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate proposals and reporting projects from kickoff through submission.
• Develop compelling grant communications including letters of inquiry and reports.
• Maintain the grants calendar and collaborate with ministry leaders, Finance, Publishing, and other departments.
• Manage CRM records, grant files, templates, proposal archives, and other grants office resources.
• Support foundation stewardship with reports, acknowledgements, and briefing materials.
• Research prospective funders and prepare foundation profiles and briefing materials.
• Prepare meeting agendas, notes, and supporting materials for grant-related meetings.
