Job summary

Lakeshore Advantage in Holland, MI is seeking an organized professional to manage grants and related programs. You will research opportunities, help prepare proposals, and coordinate partner inputs through submission and reporting processes.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in economic development or grant writing, strong communication, and meticulous project management skills. Some evenings may be required during deadlines, with in-person collaboration at our Holland office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economic development, business, planning, public administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in economic development, project management, administrative assistance, or grant writing.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with Lakeshore Advantage priorities and community impact goals.
• Support the development, drafting, organization, and submission of grant applications and proposals.
• Coordinate required materials, documentation, timelines, and partner inputs for funding opportunities.
• Track awarded grants, reporting deadlines, compliance requirements, and application progress.
• Assist with grant reporting, including data collection, narrative development, and outcome tracking.
• Maintain organized records of grant-related materials, applications, correspondence, and follow-up needs.
• Provide administrative support for incentive and tax abatement application processes, including documentation collection and submission tracking.
• Support special initiatives, project tracking, internal tools, templates, SOPs, and other priorities.
