Job summary

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Charlottesville is seeking a Director, Grants & Grant Compliance to lead the affiliate’s grant strategy and ensure strong funding relationships. You will manage pre- and post-award activities, coordinate reporting, budgets, audits, and compliance, and collaborate with program teams to maximize funding impact and accountability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of grant seeking and grants administration or related experience.
• Proven ability to write grant narratives and budgets with post-award compliance in mind.
• Experience with federal/state housing funding sources and compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Grants team from opportunity identification through award management.
• Supervise and collaborate with the ACM to coordinate pre-award and post-award functions.
• Prepare budgets, narratives, and reporting for funders and audits.
• Manage grant submissions, draws, and contract documentation.
• Ensure compliance with grant terms and coordinate with Finance for audits.
