You will oversee a $17 million portfolio, prepare monthly billings, monitor budgets, and lead a team to deliver accurate financial reporting and audits. The role collaborates with program, compliance, and advancement teams to optimize funding and strengthen grant performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years progressively responsible experience in finance or accounting in a nonprofit organization.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or related field preferred.
• Experience with grant management and compliance is desired.

Responsibilities

• Direct fiscal oversight and compliance management for a $17 million portfolio of funding.
• Prepare and review monthly grant billings, reimbursement requests, and budget-to-actual analyses.
• Monitor grant budgets, identify variances, and report findings to executive leadership.
• Administer the Cost Allocation Plan to ensure compliant allocation of expenses.
• Manage grant contacts and monitor expenditures against approved budgets.
• Review invoices for accuracy, proper approvals, and correct GL coding.
• Oversee SEFA preparation and support annual single audits.
• Lead and coach the Grant Financial Analyst and train program staff on requirements.
• Monitor program performance, audits, and address compliance issues promptly.
