Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and minimum of three years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Research external funding sources, both public and private, for educational and community services.
• Develop, edit and review grant proposals including narratives, budgets, and supporting docs on deadlines.
• Review funded grant project status with faculty/staff to ensure compliance and submit reports.
• Serve as liaison to granting agencies to promote and secure new funding opportunities.
• Collaborate with faculty/administrators to align funding with project outcomes and funder match.
• Act as primary information resource for all grants.
• Assist with compliance/management of grant activity including budgets, closing reports, audits.
• Develop grant training materials and staff development in grant writing.
• Interpret funding regulations and communicate fiscal responsibilities to college personnel.
• Plan/prepare for meetings; take/proof minutes; distribute actions.
• Operate computers, prepare correspondence and maintain up-to-date file systems.
• Work with faculty, staff, students for planning, grant development and problem solving.
• Use college management systems effectively and improve processes.
• Assist with preparation of project/program/department budgets.
• Prepare statistics and data-based reports for programs.
• Provide document development and presentation materials for project launches and closure.
• Ensure accuracy of large mailings.
• Support content development for reports, brochures, websites and signs.
• Monitor grant budgets for timely expenditures.
• Maintain central file of funding regulations and guidelines.
• Participate in college and departmental meetings.
• Perform duties with professionalism and as assigned.
