Volunteers of America Oregon is seeking a detail‑oriented Grants Coordinator to support the full lifecycle of government, foundation, and corporate grants. You’ll research opportunities, draft proposals, gather program data, and manage reporting requirements to sustain funding for programs across Oregon.

You’ll collaborate with program leaders, Finance, and Development to assemble competitive applications, coordinate internal reviews, track deadlines, and maintain accurate grant records in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, public administration, business administration, communications, or related field.
• Two years of nonprofit fundraising, grant coordination, or grants management experience.
• Experience writing, preparing, and formatting grant proposals and required forms.
• Experience coordinating schedules, meetings, and deadlines for grant proposals and reporting.
• Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT or fundraising databases preferred.

Responsabilités

• Research funding opportunities across government, foundation, and corporate channels.
• Draft and coordinate grant proposals, narratives, documents, and submission materials.
• Gather program information, budgets, outcomes, and supporting docs with program leaders and Finance.
• Coordinate internal review, budgets, and award document approvals.
• Track deadlines, reporting obligations, and deliverables; communicate risks to staff.
• Support grant reporting with quantitative and qualitative data showing program impact.
• Maintain accurate grant records and funding information in the database.
• Assist with funder engagement, site visits, meetings, and correspondence.
• Collaborate with departments to coordinate grant readiness and requests.
