Job summary

CNY Community Foundation is seeking a Program Associate to support grant distribution, program execution, and proposal reviews. You will interact with applicants, analyze proposals, and help manage grants data for staff and committees.

The role supports nonprofit capacity building, community collaboration events, and ongoing program administration, requiring strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Central New York area, its opportunities and challenges.
• Relevant work experience a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and utilize Community Foundation systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Community Grant proposal and grant processing, guiding applicants and updating results.
• Assist with research and implementation of nonprofit capacity building programs.
• Support implementing community initiatives, grant portal and database administration.
• Conduct research on issues important to the Community Foundation.
• Participate in philanthropic field activities and meetings to enhance operations.
