Job summary

Cumberland County is seeking a skilled Grants Administrator to lead a county-wide grant program, identify opportunities, and guide departments through applications and reporting. You will train staff on guidelines and monitor post-award compliance, working with various offices to ensure accuracy and consistency.

The role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and involves building a network of grant managers, coordinating with finance and legal teams, and driving effective grant management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, human services, or related field or equivalent training/experience.
• Strong knowledge of grant processes, compliance, and reporting requirements.
• Experience coordinating cross-departmental teams and managing complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a county grant program with a clear process for seeking opportunities and sharing them with departments.
• Support staff through the grant lifecycle, including application and reporting.
• Provide training to ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines and post-award requirements.
