Job summary

Civicworks is seeking a Program Officer (Administrator I) to support the administration, compliance, and impact of federally funded grant programs at the Department of Service and Civic Innovation in Maryland. The role serves as a primary contact for grantees, providing coaching and technical assistance while monitoring adherence to federal and agency requirements.

The position also contributes to community outreach and helps identify opportunities for program improvement and best practices,

Qualifications

• Four years of administrative staff or professional work experience.
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Experience working for an AmeriCorps grantee or service program preferred.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and hold a valid Maryland driver's license if assigned such duties.
