Job summary

Dorchester Bay Economic Development Corporation (DBEDC) is seeking a Grants Manager in Boston to lead institutional fundraising strategy and manage a multi-year pipeline of foundation, corporate, and public funding opportunities.

You will translate program data into compelling funder narratives, coordinate with program, Finance, and leadership teams, and oversee grant budgets and reporting to ensure compliance and impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in institutional fundraising, grant management, development, or related field.
• Demonstrated success securing foundation, corporate, and/or public funding.
• Strong grant writing, project management, budgeting, and compliance skills.
• Ability to translate program data, outcomes, and budgets into clear narratives.
• Enterprise-level thinker connecting grants to organizational strategy.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the institutional funding pipeline across foundations, corporations, and public funders.
• Lead the development of grant proposals and funder-ready narratives and budgets.
• Own the grant lifecycle from award through reporting, renewal, and close-out.
• Coordinate cross-functional input to develop cohesive, funder-ready proposals and deliverables.
