Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. in Boston, MA, is seeking a Fund Development Associate to secure philanthropic investments and expand our Community Life programs. You will develop compelling grant proposals, research funding opportunities, and coordinate with regional and national teams to communicate impact.

You will also lead Raiser's Edge donor data integrity, reporting, and CRM practices to strengthen fundraising operations and donor stewardship across levels.

Qualifications

• Three years of fund development or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with Raiser's Edge software is a plus.
• Ability to engage residents, colleagues, and external stakeholders at multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and funding requests.
• Collaborate with program staff and regional teams to gather budgets and outcomes.
• Translate program information into clear, funder-ready narratives.
• Prepare grant reports and renewals to demonstrate impact and stewardship.
• Identify prospective institutional funders and support cultivation strategies.
• Maintain grant resources and ensure timely submissions.
