Job summary

Bridge Over Troubled Waters in Boston seeks a Senior Manager of Institutional Relations to lead government funding and donor partnerships. You will own Bridge's government grants portfolio (~$6 million annually) and drive a $40 million capital campaign for 25 West Street.

You'll write compelling proposals, manage deadlines, and build relationships with city, state, and federal agencies while coordinating with program, finance, and development teams to advance Bridge's mission to support youth

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing government grants and/or government relations.
• Strong, versatile grant writer.
• Ability to build trust with government agencies.
• Proactive opportunity seeker identifying new funding.
• Collaborative teammate across programs, finance, development.
• Excellent time-management and CRM tracking experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead government funding, grants management, and agency relations.
• Write compelling grant narratives and tailored content for programs and new initiatives.
• Monitor funding opportunities and analyze RFPs, NOFOs, and procurements.
• Lead the development and submission of grant and contract applications, coordinating with program, finance, and development colleagues.
• Manage the government grants calendar, ensuring timely submissions, reports, and renewals.
• Build and maintain relationships with city, state, and federal agencies; represent Bridge at meetings and site visits.
• Move Bridge from reactive to proactive funding by developing a pipeline of opportunities and partnerships.
• Stay current on government funding priorities and policy shifts that could affect Bridge's programs or revenue.
