Job summary

Dorchester Bay Economic Development Corporation (DBEDC) is seeking a Grants Manager to join the Development team in Boston, MA. The role focuses on shaping institutional fundraising, managing a portfolio of grants, and delivering funder-ready outcomes.

You will collaborate with program leaders, Finance, and senior leadership to align DBEDC's work with funders' priorities, while building strong relationships and ensuring compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of institutional fundraising/grant management experience.
• Strong grant writing, project management, budgeting and compliance skills.
• Ability to translate program data into funder-ready narratives.
• Strategic thinker with ability to connect grants to organizational goals.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a multi-year pipeline of foundation, corporate, and public funding.
• Lead development of grant proposals, LOIs, and applications.
• Coordinate budgets, outcomes, and narratives with program and Finance staff.
• Manage grants from award through reporting, renewal and close-out.
• Coordinate cross-functional input to develop funder-ready proposals and deliverables.
