Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a Grants Manager to support a growing public sector portfolio of federal and state grants. This position focuses on post‑award administration, compliance, reporting, and closeout, not grant writing.

You will advise Principal Investigators, monitor financial requirements, and help shape scalable processes within a collaborative team in Greenwood, SC. On-site work is required for contract opportunities, with potential remote options for long‑term

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in sponsored programs, sponsored projects, or post‑award administration.
• Experience with federal and/or state grants.
• Strong post‑award compliance, reporting, and financial monitoring knowledge.
• Ability to track deadlines, deliverables, and closeout activities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Highly organized and proactive with process improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage sponsored awards from award setup through reporting, compliance, documentation, and closeout.
• Support Principal Investigators and grant stakeholders with sponsor requirements, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Monitor grant activity for compliance with federal, state, sponsor, and internal requirements.
• Track cost share, indirect costs, F&A, financial reporting timelines, and award documentation.
• Coordinate with Finance, leadership, PIs, and internal stakeholders to keep sponsored projects on track.
• Develop and improve grant processes, workflows, tracking tools, procedures, and policies.
