International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Sacramento is seeking a Grants Manager to oversee pre- and post-award activities, develop proposals and budgets, and ensure donor compliance. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in nonprofit mgmt, development, or related field.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Five+ years in development/grants in nonprofit/public sector.
• Five+ years in supervisory role.
• Excellent writing, research, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with government grants processes (federal/state/city).
• Knowledge of Sacramento nonprofit/philanthropy scene is a plus.
• Experience with budgets and finance cooperation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (Asana).
• IRC systems PEERS and OTIS a plus.
• English fluency in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage pre- and post-award activities for grants.
• Lead proposal development, log frames, budgets, and narrative quality.
• Coordinate grant openings and closing meetings across Sacramento office.
• Manage budgets and donor communications with Finance and RAM.
• Prepare interim and final reports for grantors.
• Maintain grant files with consistent documentation standards.
