Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) Denver office seeks a Grants and Development Manager to oversee pre- and post-award activities, including proposals, budgets, and compliance, coordinating with HQ RAM and local leadership. Responsibilities include prospecting, developing funding strategy, managing calendars, and leading concept notes, with coordination for Boise and regional funders.

The role also covers private donor relations, stewardship, events, and ensuring IRC policies are followed

Responsibilities

• Represent the Denver office in regional funding opportunities, coordinating with deputies, senior managers, and program leads.
• Support efforts for the Boise office and joint proposals.
• Collaborate with Denver leadership to support prospecting and funding needs.
• Develop a funding strategy and timeline and perform prospective research on funders.
• Lead concept notes and proposal development, ensuring logframes and narrative quality.
• Coordinate grant opening and closing meetings with donors and Finance.
• Provide pre-award support for Boise when needed.
• Post-award: modify budgets and outcomes with donors and track restricted funds with RAM.
• Prepare reports and coordinate timelines with local leads and HQ.
• Be a main contact for private donors in Denver to ensure compliance.
