Job summary

NEW Health, rural northeast Washington’s leading nonprofit primary care provider, seeks a Grant Manager to oversee the grant lifecycle and drive funding opportunities for community health programs.

The role requires nonprofit/grants experience, strong writing and project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with Finance and leadership. Travel may be required within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or previous work experience in nonprofit administration or grants administration.
• Previous experience in grant writing and grant administration preferred.
• Previous experience in project management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify grant opportunities, reviews grant criteria and makes recommendations to pursue grant opportunities to Executive Leadership.
• Performs research and data gathering for needs assessments to support potential funding opportunities.
• Oversees the life cycle of each grant proposal and funded grant project.
• Prepares and manages requests for grant proposals, narratives, and applications for submissions.
• Facilitates cross-departmental grant project team management to implement and report grant deliverables.
• Tracks grant compliance and provides status reports to relevant departments, including Executive Leadership.
• Collaborates with the Finance Department on grant tracking and grant management.
• Responsible for gathering necessary report data and reporting on grant progress.
• Assists the Finance Department in requesting reimbursement and drawdowns, as needed.
• Maintains all necessary grant-related materials in compliance with NEW Health’s document retention procedure.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
