Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital in St. Johnsbury, VT, seeks a Grant Manager to lead grant funding initiatives, identify opportunities, develop competitive proposals, and ensure stewardship of awarded funds. This role partners with Finance, HR, Compliance, and operations to advance programs and community health outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of grants experience, strong project management, budgeting, and compliance knowledge to support organizational growth and community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
• Three to five years of experience in grants administration, grant management, grant writing, or a related field.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience with financial budgeting and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of federal and state grant policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Responsabilités

• Identify, evaluate, and pursue grant opportunities aligned with NVRH's priorities across federal, state, foundation, corporate, and rural health sources.
• Lead proposal development, coordinate timelines, prepare narratives and materials, and ensure compliant submissions.
• Develop grant budgets, budget justifications, sustainability plans, and required documentation with Finance and program leaders.
• Oversee post-award activities: implementation, expenditure tracking, reporting, and audits.
• Coordinate with departments to monitor progress and report outcomes to leadership.
• Maintain grant management systems and develop templates and resources; produce reports on opportunities and performance.
