ATA Services, Inc. is seeking a Grant Specialist to support the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency (HIEMA) in Honolulu. The role covers grant monitoring, administration, budgets, and reporting across the grant lifecycle. You will coordinate with internal staff and external partners, ensuring accurate records and timely compliance.

The position involves proposal development, budget preparation, and program monitoring and evaluation, with disaster response team involvement during emergencies.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree; additional relevant experience may substitute.
• Two and a half years of progressively responsible professional experience in project management, grant proposal development, or grant management.

Aufgaben

• Monitor, maintain, and implement compliance for Federal grant funds received and administered by HIEMA.
• Share grant notices, funding opportunities, and application requirements with stakeholder agencies; research funding sources.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and editing grant proposals and preparing grant budgets.
• Maintain complete grant files and process documentation in grants management systems.
• Track grant milestones, reporting deadlines, and compliance requirements.
• Support grant administration and budget compliance through summaries, projections, and related docs.
• Prepare, review, and distribute grant-related correspondence; respond to routine inquiries about programs, guidelines, and reviews.
• Prepare purchase requisitions and orders per fiscal procedures and grant criteria.
• Take notes and prepare minutes for meetings and workshops.
