The Hotline is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team in Austin. This full-time, hybrid role supports general ledger maintenance, grants accounting, payroll support, and monthly closes, ensuring accurate records and compliance with accounting standards.

You will work with the Finance Director and Payroll Manager, perform reconciliations, prepare grant billings, and assist with audits while promoting accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field with accounting coursework.
• Experience with journal entries and month-end close.
• Grant accounting or payroll support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger transactions and supporting docs.
• Assist with year-end audit preparation.
• Prepare grant billings reports for Finance Director.
