Job summary

Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) seeks a Research, Grants and Evaluation Manager for the Criminal Justice Coordinating Center of Excellence (CJ CCoE) within the Psychiatry Department. The role focuses on sponsored programs, grants management, and project evaluation to advance behavioral health and criminal justice collaboration.

The position requires strong data analysis, budget oversight, and reporting capabilities, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Criminal Justice, Social Sciences, Psychology, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in data analysis, project and grant management, program evaluation/research and reporting.
• Minimum two years of experience in mental health, criminal justice and/or substance use systems, with mental health and/or substance use systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor grant activities, including applications for funding, budget proposals, expenditures monitoring, consultant and sub-contract agreements, and programmatic reporting.
• Prepare and maintain award-based budget templates, project budgets, and funding source tracking; coordinate with ORSP and Grants Accounting.
• Develop and maintain a grant reporting structure and ensure timely external reporting for sponsored projects.
