Job summary

Journey Mental Health Center is seeking a Grants & Database Coordinator to lead grant writing, reporting, and donor database management in a hybrid role. You will collaborate with a small development team, support fundraising campaigns, and ensure compliance with funders’ requirements.

The role emphasizes developing funding strategies, maintaining data integrity in Bloomerang, and producing insightful reports for leadership and the board.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years nonprofit grant writing and management experience.
• Experience with donor databases and CRM systems (Bloomerang preferred).
• Excellent writing and editing with the ability to tailor to varied audiences.
• Experience producing reports and dashboards from CRM data.
• Knowledge of budgeting and grant reconciliations.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of Journey’s mission and impact on the community.
• Collaborate with leadership and staff to identify funding needs and create outcome metrics.
• Research grant opportunities and align them with Journey’s mission.
• Prepare and submit proposals, narratives, budgets, and supporting docs.
• Serve as liaison with funders on contracts, reporting, and compliance.
• Coordinate with finance and program teams to collect data and complete reports.
• Maintain grant calendar, tracker, and files.
• Improve fundraising procedures and data collection processes.
• Lead gift processing and donor stewardship activities.
• Support Bloomerang donor database maintenance and data integrity.
• Generate reports, dashboards, and mailing lists for campaigns and board reporting.
• Assist with development events and related operations.
