Job summary

Montana Board of Crime Control (MBCC) seeks a Grants Coordinator to manage subgrant oversight, provide technical assistance, and evaluate programs funded by federal and state grants. The role requires traveling statewide to visit subgrantees and participate in federally required trainings.

The Grants Coordinator will apply for federal grants on MBCC’s behalf, review applications, and coordinate changes with the Fiscal Services Section to ensure compliance with financial requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
• Two years of directly related work experience.
• Other combinations of education or experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Provide program oversight, technical assistance, and monitoring of subgrants and program evaluation.
• Apply for federal grants on behalf of MBCC, request grant changes and extensions, and review subgrantee applications.
• Collaborate with the Fiscal Services Section to ensure financial compliance with grant requirements.
