Job summary

State of Montana, Department of Commerce, is seeking a grant administrator to support the Community Development Block Grant program across Montana. You will interpret HUD regulations, track budgets, and provide timely, high-quality service to communities and partners.

The role requires designing trainings, delivering presentations, and coordinating project delivery with state agencies, while staying current on federal guidance. Hybrid work with occasional travel to Helena will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in federal grant administration and HUD regulations.
• Ability to engage diverse stakeholders and partners.
• Strong analytical skills with minimal supervision.
• Experience delivering trainings and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Interpret HUD regulations and manage budget and compliance tracking.
• Guide applicants through funding processes and respond to inquiries.
