Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
• Graduate degree or certifications such as CPA, CIA, CFE preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in compliance/internal audit, public accounting, financial analysis or contract compliance auditing.
• Exceptional communication and people skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong understanding of automated systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for compliance monitoring of ongoing operations of Grants and Research Programs at University Health.
• Performs compliance monitoring in areas of grant funding and post award management in adherence to federal and state standards to monitor programs compliance.
• Performs monitoring of service delivery plans and contracts, contractual performance and data management to ensure quality and compliance requirements.
• Will contribute to the overall achievement of compliance requirements established by the funding agency.
• Will conduct complex operational and compliance audits from inception to completion in accordance with federal and state guidelines and corporate practices and procedures.
• Will continuously review and evaluate subrecipients’ internal control structures to ensure they adequately prevent and detect errors, fraud, waste and abuse with agencies’ funding.
• Will provide accurate and detailed reports and assistance to University Health’s management as needed.
