Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; may substitute with equivalent years of experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in grants and contracts administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating and monitoring the unit's research activities.
• Develop and administer procedures to comply with regulations for government and private grants.
• Assist Principal Investigators with pre- and post-award administration and coordination.
• Analyze proposed grants and contracts for special conditions and ensure full compliance.
• Advise on allowability and allocability of funds by disseminating guidelines from granting agencies.
• Negotiate with agencies regarding renewal of contracts/subcontracts and oversee close-out.
