Job summary

The Source is seeking a Govt. Grant Compliance Coordinator in the Austin/Houston area to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local grant requirements.

You will work under the Senior Director of Operations to maintain documentation, SOPs, and training materials, supporting programs like Texas Thriving Families and SRAE. You will assist with monitoring, audits, and evaluations, coordinating with Finance for eligible reimbursements, and helping prepare materials for site reviews and external

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in nonprofit/government program administration.
• 1–2 years of experience in government grant compliance, administration, or audit preferred.
• Familiarity with Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200), state contracts (e.g., HHSC), and monitoring/audit processes.
• Ability to interpret and apply federal/state regulations under supervision.
• Strong research and data management skills; excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support government grant compliance, including state and federal funding.
• Maintain compliance documentation, policies, and SOPs.
• Prepare training resources for staff on grant requirements and compliance standards.
• Assist with monitoring, audits, and program evaluations.
• Coordinate with Finance on cost allocation and documentation for compliant reimbursement.
• Assist in preparing materials for external monitoring visits, audits, and site reviews.
• Deliver compliance training to staff and partners and provide routine reporting to leadership.
