Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Five (5) years of related experience required; work experience may not substitute for education.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, refines, reviews and submits sponsored research proposals to the Office of Sponsored Programs on behalf of the school’s faculty.
• Calculates personnel effort, develops budget and budget justification, and verifies indirect costs.
• Obtains internal approvals and uploads documents for submission; ensures sponsor deadline adherence.
• Collaborates with departments, schools, institutions, and industry partners as appropriate.
• Maintains repository of proposals and tracks award activity; coordinates onboarding and training for research personnel.
• Serves as award manager and Department Effort Officer (DEO) for assigned departments; handles notices of award, subcontracts, invoices, cost transfers, and monthly reports.
