Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Grants Management Analyst to provide administrative guidance to NIH staff and grantees, maintain compliant documentation, and coordinate grant actions. You will review budgets and justifications, support awards and amendments, monitor portfolios, and ensure adherence to NIH policies and funding limits.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of grants-related experience, with strong regulatory and documentation skills.

• Experience coordinating processes requiring regulatory compliance and detailed documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative guidance to NIH staff and grantee representatives within established authority.
• Maintain complete and organized documentation per federal and NIH requirements.
• Collaborate with Program Officers, Grants Management Officers, grantees, and sponsored researchers to support timely, accurate grant actions.
• Conduct administrative and regulatory reviews of grant applications for NIH/HHS policy compliance.
• Review components, budgets, and justifications for completeness and allowability.
• Support processing of grant awards, amendments, supplements, and administrative actions.
• Monitor active grant portfolios to ensure adherence to terms and funding limits.
• Resolve grant-related issues in coordination with staff and grantees.
• Maintain accurate records in NIH grants systems and tracking tools like IMPAC II.
• Generate analyses and summaries of funding status, workloads, and portfolio metrics.
• Track deadlines and outstanding documentation to support timely grant processing.
• Apply statutes, NIH policy statements, and internal procedures; stay updated on NIH policy changes.
