Job summary

Baltimore City is seeking a Grants Compliance Manager within the MONSE team to ensure robust grants compliance with local, state, federal, and private funding sources. You will guide program staff, liaise with funders, and support auditors on all grant-related matters.

This role covers application through closeout, including reporting, monitoring, and improvements to grant processes. Strong knowledge of Uniform Guidance is expected, with a focus on preventing violence and advancing community

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
• At least five (5) years of progressive experience in grants management, compliance, accounting, or a related field; government or nonprofit grants preferred.
• Equivalency notes: any combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with all grant requirements.
• Oversee the life cycle of all grants: application, setup, budget management, performance tracking, reporting, and closeout.
• Monitor grant-funded program activities and expenditures to ensure proper use of funds and adherence to terms.
