Job summary

Pierce, Monroe & Associates LLC in Detroit seeks a Grants Compliance Manager to oversee end-to-end grant closeout activities, monitor performance, and ensure expenditures are properly classified. This role also handles reporting to government agencies, financial reconciliations, and coordinating payments with internal teams and external partners.

You will manage compliance reporting calendars, monitor award requirements, and lead preparation of financial schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience with grant reporting, reimbursements, budgeting and compliance.
• Ability to interpret regulations and policies for grant recipients.
• Strong financial reporting and data analysis capabilities.
• Proven project management and scheduling skills.
• Adept at coordinating cross‑department teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Review grants and agreements from initiation to closeout and ensure proper classification of expenditures.
• Monitor performance, reconciliations, and financial completion of grants and IAGs.
• Prepare and analyze internal and external financial reports, including schedules of expenditures.
• Manage compliance reporting calendars and external reporting to government agencies.
• Coordinate payments, resolve invoice issues in real time, and escalate where needed.
• Travel to sub-recipients as required and oversee award monitoring.
