Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with accounting concentration
• Minimum of three years of experience in accounting and business administration
• Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet

Responsibilities

• Oversee comprehensive financial management of grants, including budgeting, reporting, and analysis
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
• Collaborate with staff to develop grant budgets and monitor activity in accounting software
• Audit grant accounting data and correct errors
• Ensure GAAP compliance and timely government/funding reports
• Monitor grant contracts and sub-recipients for financial policy adherence
• Prepare information for annual Single Audit and other audits
• Contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting
• Supervise journal entries and month-end closing processes
• Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
